Bandet gjennomførte nylig en heftig konsert, om ikke så altfor lenge er det release.

Jeg fikk ikke releasedato, men etter litt graving mener jeg at det er snakk om tidlig mars neste år. Forhåndsbestillinger på cd og/eller vinyl kan du sjekke inn HER.

Og denne konserten var en oppsamling av bandets 25 år, hvor de samlet tidligere og dagens medlemmer for å planke sin musikalske historie. Her er litt info fra bandet og tracklistene for cd-pakken og den tripple (!) vinylen:

"After 25 years of being creative, recording albums playing live on worldwide tours, we felt it was time to celebrate this with a unique concert. We decided to do something special and came to the idea to ask every member who once were part of our 25 year history to join us.
Songs were rehearsed and collaborations between old and new members were made.

Few had dared to hope that The Gathering would put on such a big show: it became a complete overview concert, from the very first album Always…(1992) to our latest release: Afterwords (2013) including nearly all the musicians the band has had in its ranks over the years. 

Result: Doornroosje, a concert hall in the Dutch city of Nijmegen, was sold out twice. And on November 9th 2014, many fans, who had come from far and wide to see one of the two legendary concerts, were treated to a 2,5 hour set, with a selection of songs which lure the listener down memory lane. This live album release is a souvenir of that magical day. 

Carefully mixed by Guido Aalbers (who also mixed our highly acclaimed Disclosure album), this release is one of our most memorable ones!

The release comes as a double CD and also as a triple vinyl. The CD version is a beautiful designed digi-file with 52 page booklet filled with photos made that day, by several photographers, among them Marcus Moonen (known from our famous Heroes for Ghost video).

The LP version consists of a triple coloured (limited) or black vinyl, in 3 separate sleeves, all fitting nicely in a slipcase. Also included with a 30x30 cm 16 page booklet with live photo material."
