"Propaganda deals with the political situation in Europe and the growing support for extremist ideas. The songs are highlighting concepts such as the corrupting nature of political power, the influence a charismatic leader can have on citizens, as well as the consequences of this phenomenon. One of the ideas behind the album is to present the band as a satirical political party.

The album was produced and mixed by the band and Carlos Sepúlveda from Belly of the Whale Studios in Gothenburg. The music video for the opening track Grey Masses Gather was made by the previous vocalist and long time collaborator Axel Widén."
