Trønderne kom med video og skive for noen dager siden.

Gitarist Kim-Marius forteller at det foreligger en video til låten 'Extinction', som er hentet albumet 'Recurrence' - det er faktisk i handel nå, releasdato var 21. april.

"Skive ble delvis spilt inn i Skarp Studio i Trondheim (Keep of Kalessin, Triosphere, Tellus Requiem)" forteller Kenneth, og slenger på at miksen ble tatt hånd om av "...Christer Andre Cederberg (Circus Maximus, Anathema) og mastret av Jens Bogren (Symphony X, James Labrie, Opeth etc)." 

Christer kjenner vi jo som gitarist i både In The Woods... og Animal Alpha, flink fyr!

Trønderne har vi vært innom før, nå kommer skive nummer to. Stikkord er 21. april, danske Mighty Music, cd og digital variant.

Vi må tilbake til 2013 for å finne debuten, Awakening, så vi snakker om et band som muligens har kvalitet over kvantitet-holdningen.

Besetningen, som består av Alexander K. Lykke (vokal), Kim-Marius H. Olsen (gitar), Pierre-Nicolai H. Schmidt-Melbye (bass), Ivar A. Nyland (keyboard) and Frode Lillevold (trommer), henter inspirasjon fra rock, både klassisk-, prog- og neo-utgaven, fra heavy metal og fra de mer extreme avartene.,

Sakset fra presseskriv: "The new creation, Recurrence, is a concept album that lyrically debates the cyclic nature of human existence, both as a species and at more personal levels. Musically, it contains both the technical- and melodic aspects familiar to the progressive metal genre.

With Recurrence the band set out to make an album that would be more than just the sum of its tracks, envisioning an album where the songs would create tightly knit whole; the end of the album connects with the beginning of the first song, making an infinite musical piece, which mirrors the lyrics.

As before the band wanted to challenge themselves technically, aiming to do better than the last time, but always keeping the songs and the album as a whole in focus. The result is an album comprising six tracks, varying in length from 5 to 22 minutes per track, in the tradition of bands like Circus Maximus, Pagan’s Mind, Threshold, Arena, Haken, and early Dream Theater."
